Design websites! Html tutorial 1.Design a basic website.

 Ever wanted to design websites???? Now you can.
Step 1:

Open Notepad.
Step 2:
Type the following code in Notepad:
<html>
<head>This is my first website</head>
<title>My Website</title>
</html>
Step 3:
 Save your file on the Desktop.
Name it 'Website.html'
(Do not forget . html because if you don't type that after the name, your website will not appear)
Step 4:
The circled icon on the desktop is your .html file.
Double click it to view your first site!
Step 5:
Your very first website!
Step 6 :
The <html> tag begins your code and the </html> tag ends your code.
If you do not type even any one of these, your website shall not be created.
Note: The tags that have a forward slash (/) is called the closing tag, and if not typed, your code shall not be seen.
eg. <html> - This begins the code
</html> - This ends the code.
(This principle is applied for all html tags)
Step 7:

The words typed between the <head> and </head> is the header or the heading sentence of your website.
Step: 8
The words added  between the <title> and </title> tags is your title that you see at the top of your browser.

Welcome!!!!

Welcome to Tech 4 Kids.
Tech 4 Kids is a platform where we teach children who have just started to learn computers or programming. We use really simple language that is easily understandable. I  myself cannot stand hi - fi  computer language, that we all find in most computer learning books. I shall be posting video tutorials also for better understanding.

Remember: The world of computers is really a good place to be, if you do things the right way. So, do not adopt wrong ways.

 If you have any questions or doubts, please comment or email them to writathon_entries@hotmail.com.
   Thank you for reading and do have fun with computers
